David and Hannah Wilkinson are off near the end of the year to serve with International Justice Mission in the Philippines as they seek to bring God's light and justice to victims of a particular form of slavery/trafficking.

Daryl talks us through Nebuchadnezzar's journey from being an arrogant king to humbling himself before God and gets us to reflect on our own journey with God. He gets us to look at our current lives and think about what God is asking each of us in our individual lives today.

Sometimes as followers of Jesus we just can't dance along to the tune that society plays. However, negotiating our public witness to Christ isn't straightforward. We are also commanded to, where possible, be at peace with everybody. What does Daniel3 have to say that might help us navigate this complicated space.

Daniel and his friends have to work out what it looks like to be faithful in Babylon. What does it look like for us to be faithful in our community? This sermon explores how ultimately we are called to be a blessing to the world around us. Our distinctiveness should be grounded by a love for God AND a love for people.

This interview came on week 2 of a 3-week series on our sentness as a church. 

We interviewed a panel of 4 people who have engaged in overseas mission and got them to reflect on the their call, and what God showed and taught them through their experiences. We also hear some great stories about what God has done in these overseas contexts

Pai, Thailand is a known destination where Spiritual Seekers gather and explore spirituality. There is a missional group there called Shekinah. They seek to bring Christ in culturally relevant ways to those Spiritual seekers. 

John Dixon went over there to connect with them. This expedition connected with John's Spiritual journey in a significant way. Hear his story here!
